It was a very busy week at the centre, with lots of visitors making the most of Heritage Week. Vistors from the local surrounding area, Louth, Cavan, Galway, Dublin, Belfast, Portadown and even England enjoyed tours with Lorna and Peadar (and of course Lily and the rest of the Morgan family close by).
Thankfully the weather held up so people could enjoy some music on the deck!!

It is of course that wonderful time of year of new arrivals for all Irish Birds & Mammals.
But with all new arrivals, they are vulnerable to all kinds of danger.
The lovely Christy Family from Annafarkin near Broomfield in Castleblaney arrived at the Wildlife Centre with too little baby Hedgehogs who were found beside their Mother who was unfortunately dead. Needless to say, everyone at the Wildlife Centre couldn't wait to provide the little Hoglets with a safe new home.
They have settled in nicely to their own luxury VIP section of our greenhouse where they can dig, scuffle, eat, drink and of course snuggle up as Hedgehogs love to do - without any danger.
Pictures to come soon! :-)
